Until now, extracting information necessary for clinical trials from electronic health record systems has presented numerous technical and operational challenges. Even in so-called "successful cases," only about 50% of the information necessary for clinical trials has been integrated. As a result, the complete elimination of SDV (Source Data Verification) has not been achieved, and SDV remains a significant factor in clinical trial costs.

This seminar will introduce the Akyrian Source Data Extraction (SDE) solution, which overturns conventional wisdom regarding electronic health record integration. We will explain an innovative integration method with electronic medical record systems using Reverse FHIR technology, as well as an approach that incorporates the latest global initiatives, including compliance with protocol templates defined in ICH M11.
